With a career that stands nearly two decades, Ukhozi FM radio presenter Zeal Dladla has come a long way on the radio frequencies and to mark the 17th anniversary of her journey in the industry, there seems to be no better way than celebrating it with her supporters.

The vibrant host has revealed that she is planning a massive tour as a way of showing appreciation to fans who have stuck by her side since the very beginning.

According to the news publication Daily Sun, the celebrations will take place just ahead of her birthday which will be on the 8th of August. It will kick off on 3 August at the Gin Festival in Kings Park Outer Field, Durban and continue at the Marleys Shisanyama in Ixopo.

Meanwhile, other venues include Tiger’s Milk in Pavillion Mall, Durban (8 August), Ngcedomhlophe Stadium (10 August), Capello at Umhlanga (11 August), and many more leading up to the end of August.

With a lengthy CV which boasts a number of household stations like Metro FM, Gagasi FM, East Coast Radio and others, she revealed that her initial job working at Metro FM while studying at Wits remains her highlight.

She explained that she is most grateful for the fact that she found herself fitting in at each station she spent her time at.

“Another achievement was joining Ukhozi FM to present shows in my mother tongue isiZulu,” she added.

With Ukhozi now being her new home, her desire is to follow in the footsteps of late presenter Winnie Mahlangu.
