Ukhozi FM broadcaster and Crown Gospel Awards creator, Zanele Mbokazi is currently recovering in hospital after she had to undergo a theatre procedure recently.

The news of her recovery was shared by the media personality while still trying to deal with the pain from the procedure.  According to Sunday World, Zanele fell ill just after finishing her show on Sunday.

The publication adds that paramedics were called to the radio station and she was rushed to hospital.

An insider who did not want to be named told the publication, “She had just finished her show when paramedics were called to intervene because she was struggling to breathe. It was a serious thing.”

After the procedure was done, the media personality updated her friends and fans on her Instagram, noting:

“Just before going to the theatre last night baba, Rev Dr. SD Gumbi prayed for me “Nqaba naye Nkosi (don’t allow the worst to happen Lord). Umhlaba uyalidinga lelizwi eliphilisa imiphefumulo, libuyise ithemba, lizale namaphupho (the world needs this voice that heals souls, returns hope and makes dreams come through)”. Kwabuya amandla (my strength returned).”

Thanking people for their support, she continued:

“Ngiyabonga kubo bonke abafundisi, artists and friends abebethumela imikhuleko (I am thankful to all the pastors, artists, and friends who sent out prayers) and flowers. Ngibonga nasemndenini wase #Eshilo ngemikhuleko yenu (thank you Eshilo family for your prayers) and messages of support on my Facebook page. Sbongi and Ukhozi FM management, Swaziland, boskoni thank you for the love. BoDonda nakaHarris.”

She then put everyone at ease, noting, “The theatre procedure went well. Now managing pain.”
