The process is currently in its fourth year of the building process, and nobody is more joyful than Mama Dee. In one of her videos, she reveals that the estimated budget was expected to cost her around R1.5 million, however, with her demanding job causing her to fly in and out of the country, the building took much longer to complete.

To date she has spent more than R2 million on bringing her vision to reality, and what a mansion it is!

Surrounded by the beautiful landscape of hills and greenery, the house is certainly one of the main attractions in the area.

The ambitious mother also has a YouTube channel in which she documents her life since relocating to the United States of America. Here, she also provides her subscribers with regular updates of the developments of her village house in South Africa, as well as advice to those considering to build their own homes from the ground up.

Taking to Facebook she wrote:

“My journey of building my homestead started on December 3rd 2020. Photo is year 1, year 2, year 3. I build my home when I’m in South Africa so that is partly why it is taking longer and also, I run out of cash .”
