Why you should watch BET series Queendom

If you fancy shows about royalty where they fight for the throne, then look no further as BET Africa has got you.

With just a few episodes in the BET Africa drama series, Queendom is worth watching with a mix of various actors from previous shows it all comes together to create something memorable.

The drama series features actors such as Linda Mtoba, Sindi Dlathu, Hamilton Dlamini, Mduduzi Mabaso, Pallance Dladla, Dawn Thandeka King, Jabulani “Sjava” Hadebe, comes through with the theme song titled Wena Wamanzi with supporting cast members Slindile Nodangala, Nhlanhla Kunene, Themba Ndaba, Samkelo Ndlovu and many others.

Queendom is about a young talented woman Ntandokayise played by Linda Mthoba who doesn’t know that her mother has been hiding a big secret from her for many years. The secret is part of the royal family and supposedly the one who is meant to rule Khahlamba Kingdom as Queen.

Linda’s deception of the character has been amazing to watch from seeing her in Isibaya and The River, she knows what she is doing.

During an interview with broadcast satellite service DSTV Namibia, she stated that she was excited to be part of the drama series as this unique storyline spoke about the complexities of love, destiny, and the power within, adding that, “Ntando is not just a character; she’s a symbol of the strength all African women possess. In her story, we witness the collision of two worlds, the power of destiny and the rise of a queen. I can’t wait for viewers to embark on this journey with us.”
