‘Why do we need deputy ministers?’ – Julius Malema

Economic Freedom Fighters’ president and former ANC Youth League’s leader Julius Malema had a lot to say about the government’s mismanagement of the country’s finances to the detriment of the citizens.

Speaking at an EFF press conference, the CIC commented:

“There’s just too much money in South Africa, we have a lot of money. Just tell me, why do we need deputy ministers. Why do we need such a big cabinet? Why does the president eat R600k in food on a jet. What did he eat? Is he eating golden eggs or what? There’s just too much. Our state owned enterprises have got the capacity to generate a lot of income for us.”

“Elicit financial flaws and tax avoidance that robs South Africa of its monies needs a decisive leadership. From corporate tax alone, if properly collected, we can finance higher education, free of charge.”

Julius quickly corrected himself, noting, “Not corporate, with mining tax alone, including that one that killed people in Marikana.”

Internet users were quick to respond commenting:

One user who seemed to agree with what the CIC was saying commented, “Well said Mr. Malema, this is exactly what makes Africans politicians go for politics eating the country money and puts it down. Next you are in the parliament address this point and advise Africans opposition’s friends around Africa.”

“Yes South African has so much money, why do we need EFF?,” asked a user.

Another user could not be fooled by Julius, commenting, “He only wants to take advantage of SA. Will make no difference , just as corrupt. Fu#k this country, its done.”
