‘When it comes to money, I trust nobody’ – Lebo M

by Bongiwe Mati

A Podcast and Chill video clip of a telephone interview between MacGyver ‘Mac G’ Mukwevho and musician Lebo M has been circulating on social media. This comes shortly after it was alleged that Lebo M and his wife Pretty Samuels were headed for divorce.

The interview which got people’s attention starts with MacG asking the musician if he thinks that he has trust issues, to which Lebo responded:

“Yeah, when it comes to money, I trust nobody.”

MacG further asked:

“Do you think, you know, there’s that saying if you keep doing the same thing expecting a different result it’s madness what not.” Further explaining that statement as, “If you keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result that will lead to madness, don’t you think that applies to you?”

Lebo firmly responded saying, “No, that’s some dumb sh*t, that’s like don’t wake up and live, don’t wake up and fall in love.”

MacG continued, adding:

“Because you’re still trying to find love but clearly it’s not working out.”

Lebo then added:

“It’s not about love, it’s about money, it’s about estate. It’s about giving me, assuring me that if I drop dead there’s no wheel out there, cannot do with love.”

Before MacG could finish asking Lebo if he would ever sacrifice his wealth for love, Lebo jumped in to respond. He firmly commented:

“Hell No, no, no!”

A recently engaged MacG finished off by asking the award-winning producer if he has any advice for him since he recently got engaged, and Lebo responded, saying:

“I’ve got no advice for you bro. Good Luck.”

MacG: Bro Lebza, before we let you go, I just got engaged last week, what advise do you have for me, man?

Lebo M: “I’ve got no advice for you bro! good luck”??? #PodcastAndChill pic.twitter.com/WkCqRMZlDh
