Political parties are fighting hard to get the public on their side as days get closer to the 29th May, where mzansi citizens will take part in the seventh democratic elections.

The president of the Republic of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa has also been visiting different provinces, campaigning for his political party ANC.

In one of his visits to different cities he also visited the oldest township in Cape Town, Langa.

The crowd who had come to listen to him were given a chance to dress the president when a young man got up and said:

“As the president of the ANC, work for us, we want to see your work or what you’ve done. We won’t vote for you as young people while other political parties run by young people like EFF are available. We won’t vote for you as you’re not doing anything for our benefit, we don’t see anything that you’ve done. Work in order to get votes.”

The young man’s comment was met with cheers from the crowd of people who were present at the hall.

The video was shared on social media platform by news publication MDN News on their X (formerly known as Twitter) platform.
