Besides showing off his dance moves, the South African leader also personally congratulated Tyla on her Grammy win for the hit song. During his phone call with the star, the President confessed, “I have been enjoying Water so much. I was telling people that I memorised it. They were so envious, they said I should show the moves.”

Tyla replied to the President, “I saw the video,” which had both of them laughing.

President Ramaphosa concluded his conversation by congratulating Tyla on behalf of the nation, sharing, “The world is your oyster. Go out and conquer the world on our behalf … I look forward to meeting you face-to-face and dancing with you.”
