WATCH: Naledi Aphiwe and friends perform an acapella

This young artist has gained prominence in the most unimaginable way, with her name being featured amongst the most popular international names.

The young female who rose to stardom through captivating hearts with her singing is truly a representation of her name which translates to star. Naledi Aphiwe Myongwane is the young South African singer who got recognition after the video of her singing with her classmates went viral.

In the video, Naledi and the rest of her Khethokuhle Secondary School classmates sang about a child that was being molested by her father.

Upon her video going viral, she received compliments from Chris Brown. Her talent landed her an opportunity to work with Chris Brown as he sampled her voice for his song, Shooter. Naledi’s voice can be heard at the beginning of the song.

Following her success, the rising star has received many congratulatory wishes from fellow stars within the entertainment industry. Naledi also remains high rooted by Mzansi citizens as they have shown her tremendous support and joy in her achievements.

The star took to instagram to captivate hearts once again with her sweet melody. This time however, she featured two other females who are her friends. Their raw talent and vocals took Instagram users by storm as the trio performed their acapella. The unison of their unique voices came together beautifully with some comments stating that the girls sounded “heavenly”.
