Cheslin Kolbe can do no wrong in the eyes of his supporters and the nation at large as he remains a holder of many titles. This Springbok player is an agile beast on the field, and an absolutely admirable husband and a gentle father to his three children off the field.
While these Springbok rugby players are heavy on having to compete for trophies and medals, it remains known that those that are off the market have experienced quite a relaxed journey with regards to finding their significant others.
Taking a journey back to how the love story of Layla and Cheslin began, it has been known that they met at the Newlands Stadium back in 2013 in a Currie Cup game where the Stormers were going against Xerox Golden Lion.
In an interview with Wedding ETC – a magazine dedicated for all things wedding – Cheslin recalled the moment he had first laid eyes on Layla.
“She stopped myself and Kurt Coleman, because her friend wanted to take a photo with us, and I have been in love with her ever since,” he shared.
Cheslin popped the big question in 2016 and since then, these two have been living their happily every after.
The Kolbes have since expanded as the two share three beautiful children named Kylah, Mila and their son Kayden.
