Grammy award-winning deejay Black Coffee’s Kaya959 interview with Thabo Mokwele, famously known as Tbose, took many by surprise when the globally recognised superstar answered questions about his marriage to actress Mbali Mlotshwa.

The couple who are in the process of a divorce got married in 2017 after they had been dating for a while. The wedding which was attended by the who’s who in the political, business and entertainment industry, looked absolutely amazing.

As it is, the couple who seem to not be on good terms, as Mbali had expressed in many videos. In her last video, Mbali shared that she sent well wishes to her soon-to-be husband after his plane accident only to be told that she mustn’t pretend to care.

In a very candid interview, Tbose asked the Superman hitmaker if he acknowledges that he failed his marriage as no one marries with intentions to divorce and he responded by saying:

“Dismally, I think I modelled marriage my own way, alone. Because of my own upbringing, and my parents’ failing in marriage then I not being raised by both of them.

“I created my own world, where I’m like, you know when I get a chance to do this thing. I’m gonna do it this way, so much that, you want to lead in everything, you want to cover everything,” commented the deejay.

He added:

Acknowledging that he unintentionally navigated his union single-handedly, the deejay added:

‘You want to be the driver of this thing, so much that you forget that there’s someone next to you. You’re the driver, there’s a navigator and both of you are important.”

“Every time I would make a move that I thought was big for us and it wasn’t received like that a part of me was dying because I was like trust me, I know how this thing is going to work out.”
