Singer, influencer and actress Khanyisa Jaceni shot to fame after Mzansi fell in love with her funny TikTok content and her rendition of famous people’s songs that she translated and sang in her mother tongue, isiXhosa.
The Mpumalanga-born star has further evolved into one of the most recognised faces in the media industry, releasing music and gracing our June magazine cover with other TikToker stars.
Khanyisa recently became a trending topic after social media users discovered a video of international, multi-Grammy award winner Alicia Keys’ reaction to Khanyisa’s isiXhosa rendition of her hit song Unthinkable.

In the video, Alicia can be seen looking mesmerised by the ‘Bottom Line’ catchphrase user. Alicia could also be heard humming and duetting Khanyisa. In the end, the No One hitmaker commented:
