A lot went down at the Cotton Fest in Durban. One of those things being Big Zulu serenading Pearl Thusi on stage in front of thousands of people, even getting down on his haunches and holding Pearl’s ankles. Many social media users feel that this was Big Zulu’s attempt at trolling Emtee.

According to reports, Big Zulu and Emtee have been butting heads since the former released a diss track called 150 Bars last year. The latter then responded with his own track, Umuntu Ophaphayo, and recently revealed that he will never work with Big Zulu.

Emtee has also been crushing on Pearl for years, naming a song after her that shot him to fame.

The video of Big Zulu serenading Pearl was shared by DJs Production TV on TikTok and received almost half a million views. The viral video was titled, “Big Zulu performs iVolovolo to Pearl Thusi at Cotton Fest Durban.”

“Emtee won’t like this ??,” wrote one TikToker.

“Pov: me waiting for Emtee to go live on Instagram ?,” said another TikToker.

The video was also shared on Twitter by the account @VillageGuluva, and received quite a few comments.

“Ya No… Big Zulu means business. He’s not making any Emtee promises,” joked a tweep.
