Was Ashleigh Ogle’s cryptic post aimed at ex-Elton Jantjies?

Disgraced Springbok player Elton Jantjies was in a celebratory mood this past week. He recently joined KaCar as a brand ambassador. The company is a peer-to-peer car rental agency.

While he may have put his past woes behind him, the ghost of his girlfriend’s past seemingly came back to haunt him. Ex Ashleigh Ogle had a bone to pick with the flyhalf after a week of securing the bag.

Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), the content creator posted a cryptic message without mentioning names. The ex-couple had been together for less than a year, and yet their relationship made headlines when Ashleigh accused Elton of having a drug problem and taking money from her without paying it back. There were also allegations of abuse.

“Can you guys tell him to pay me back my money and the money he stole from my daughter’s bank account, instead this fool is ‘buying’ cars,” she wrote.

“What a joke, he can’t even buy bread but had R100 for buttons and tik. Wasteman.”

The post caught the attention of eagle-eyed X users who put two and two together. Ashleigh was given some valuable advice on how to recover her money.

“Tweeting isn’t going to solve anything, do reach out to @Refunds_HQ legal department & open a case for immediate investigation, tracking & recovery of all you lost. Helped me when I was in the same devastating situation,” responded a concerned online user to which Ogle responded, “Thank you.”


In the meantime, Elton has moved on from their tumultuous relationship and is said to be with former Miss SA finalist Loren Jenneker.

According to City Press, the couple met at a restaurant, and Jenneker said she did not know who Jantjies was at first. “My first thoughts were, ‘Wow, what a nice man; a sweetheart’,” she told the publication.

The rugby player also set the record straight on the current status of his marriage to Iva Ristic. He explained they were divorced, and it irritates him that everyone constantly brings up his previous relationships.
