Mzansi was baffled to learn what Chef Xolani Sabelo had to say about the reality star, Vuyokazi Nciweni who he recently paid lobola for.

On the leaked voice notes that are widely shared on social media platforms, Xolani is allegedly speaking to the mother of his child; he can be heard saying that he was forced to pay lobola for Vuyokazi which led to intensive stress on his side causing him to faint just before the negotiations took place.

He went on and said he would put Vuyokazi in a test tube to see how much she loves him and if she is willing to build a future with him, by telling her to deposit money for her child because he is financially strained.

An X (formerly Twitter) user shared a snippet of the voice notes.

Upon hearing these voice notes, Vuyokazi took to her Instagram page to share her stance on the matter. In the statement issued, Vuyokazi said she strives to leave a private life, yet she finds her personal life in the public domain.

She said hearing her fiancé uttering those words on the circulating voice notes has led her to see him in another light. Vuyokazi revealed that she is despondent by the things said and is struggling to process the emotional turmoil of the situation.

X users weighed in on the matter.

One user said:

This might sound crass but Vuyokazi should be grateful to whoever leaked that recording, because now she knows the kind of men she’s dealing with.

Another one said:

It’s actually crazy how men are capable of marrying women they dislike or hate. There’s no way Xolani would say all the bad things he said about Vuyokazi if he truly loved her to begin with. How do you even feel as a man, plotting evil against your WIFE that you married??? ?

While another one said:

I’m hurting on behalf of Vuyokazi, I don’t know her personally but she didn’t deserve those losers she keeps on attracting. Xolani was the worst, taking advantage of Vuyo’s vulnerability ? That boy is so vile.. geee ?
