Prominent businessman and author Vusi Thembekwayo has earned thousands of nods from South Africans after achieving yet another personal milestone, while rubbing shoulders with world elites on the big stage.

The proud founder of MyGrowthFund Venture Partners recently made history by becoming the first African speaker to represent the continent at the Good Soil Forum.

The event took place in Dallas, Texas, at the AT&T Performing Arts Center in the United States, and hosted several keynote panelists including the likes of multi-award-winning television host, Oprah Winfrey, and Pastor TD Jakes.

The event, which was spearheaded by TD Jakes, is focused on empowering black entrepreneurs by providing them with the necessary tools needed to build generational wealth, while simultaneously connecting them with opportunities.

Thembekwayo’s masterclass was largely focused on scaling businesses.

Taking to his Instagram page, the charismatic businessman shared just how much the opportunity meant to him.

“History made!” he wrote. “Honored to have been the first ever speaker from Africa at the 2025 Good Soil Forum, sharing the stage with icons like Ms. Oprah Winfrey and Chairman T.D. Jakes.”

He later continued, “It was a profound honour to represent our continent and deliver a masterclass on scaling businesses, directly from the battle-tested roadmap of School of Scale. This moment amplifies our mission: to equip entrepreneurs globally with the tools for exponential growth. Our impact is real, measured in the tangible success of founders we serve”.

Responding to a similar post shared on X, many users congratulated the motivational speaker on his achievement.

“You didn’t just speak, you stamped history. What a moment. What a mission. Salute, King. The continent is louder because of you,” one person wrote.

Following the milestone achievement, Thembekwayo is already focused on what to do next. In the same post he wrote, “Thank you, Good Soil Forum, for this incredible platform! The global tour continues – where should I speak next?”
