Multi-award-winning US actress, Viola Davis, has debunked the ‘White Genocide’ narrative in South Africa.
This comes after the US president, Donald Trump, opened doors for white farmers as refugees in the USA; and collected evidence to prove that there is ‘White Genocide’ in South Africa.
The Woman King star took to her Instagram page to share that she stands with South Africans. Viola shared that she has spent a lot of time in South Africa and that she has seen all the ravages of apartheid.
“I spent a lot of time in Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Paarl, and Durban, there is no argument. There is no justification. I’ve seen the ravages of apartheid. I’ve seen the townships — all Black. Full stop,” she penned.
She also thanked Abby Phillip, news anchor of News Night, for speaking truth to power during their discussion about what happened inside the Oval. During their discussion with Scott Jennings, she shut him down over the ‘White Genocide’ accusations and asked him why he was only concerned about white people.

Instagram users also weighed in on the discussion.
One user said: “I am so triggered by all this, as my younger brother was brutally murdered by our white neighbour on our farm. Do you hear us going around and playing the racist card? No, but here we are. Racism has no place in our societies. We must strive to be better humans.”
Another one said: “She let him get away with ‘I wouldn’t trust the South African government to tell me’ That burns me up so much. In other words, I wouldn’t trust a black government to inform me about what’s happening with white citizens. I literally cannot believe in 2025 we’re having these conversations about South Africa, while arresting our citizens with no due process.”
