International Amapiano star Uncle Waffles is set to drop the second part of her double-sided album titled, An Asylum of Solace.

Earlier in the year, the Amapiano DJ announced her second studio album titled Asylum and it went Gold a few weeks after it was released.

Taking to social media, the Tanzania hitmaker said that part B of her album will be released on the 11th of August.

“An Asylum of Solace, part B of my double-sided project is dropping on the 11th of August ? I hope you guys love it the way I do,” she wrote.

The star also shared a series of videos where she discussed the album with her supporters, so they can have a full grasp of what she’s cooked up.

In a note shared on Instagram, she explained the inspiration behind the title of the project.

“We’ve come to part 2 of my double-sided project. An Asylum of Solace. This project is a curated musical version of my journey, feelings that can only be shared through music, coming into almost 2 years since my life completely changed. The first part of this project, Asylum was a representation of the chaos in my mind trying to grasp, learn and run within this,” she wrote.

“How I’d feel like I was drowning some days but had to soldier on, the reality of going head first into such a beautiful industry. The reality of the feelings that would make me feel like I was in an asylum, now we have part 2. Solace.”

“Solace is a representation of the grace that followed me and gave me so much peace and happiness, a mirror into how beautiful this journey continues to be, the blessings within this journey. It represents an unexplainable feeling of gratitude that this journey chose me. With a few samples, also shows how I’ve been musically inspired over the years, and how it can all still tie in together,” she added.
