Tyla sparks conversation with playful dance to Yung Miami’s new single

When Tyla shares a video, the internet listens and this week, her latest post has fans talking. The South African A-Pop sensation was spotted grooving to American rapper Yung Miami’s new track, Tea Time, months after the two were linked by a simmering social media spat over the song title Chanel.

From controversy to choreography

Earlier this year, Yung Miami of the City Girls accused Tyla of drawing inspiration from her unreleased song Take Me to Chanel. Yung Miami claimed she had shared a snippet with Tyla before the South African artist unveiled her own single titled Chanel, sparking online accusations and heated discussions.

Tyla, known for keeping her cool in public spats, never addressed the controversy directly. She continued teasing Chanel in live performances and on her own social media, letting her music speak for itself.

Now, by dancing to Tea Time, Tyla has reignited conversation, but this time, the tone is less confrontational and more ambiguous. Fans are split: is it a subtle olive branch, a playful nod to the past, or a cheeky way to drive attention to Yung Miami’s new release?

Social media weighs in

The video, which Tyla posted on X and Instagram, immediately caught eyes. Fans dissected every move, hashtag, and emoji. Some viewed it as playful banter, while others suspected a hint of shade. The debate intensified when Yung Miami reposted Tyla’s clip, jokingly referencing her track’s viral “two fingers touching” lyric.

“Even Tyla fingers touchin 🤏🏾🤏🏾🤏🏾 I’m really that b**** fr ain’t no denying it 😏,” Yung Miami wrote, sending social media into a frenzy.

Fans had their own takes:

  • @zacisontime quipped, “You better say thank you, Tyla, for the free promotion.”

  • @ilovetaydo added, “The people’s princess doing charity work as part of her royal duties.”

A new chapter in a viral saga

For Tyla, the moment highlights her ability to navigate global attention with finesse. While the “Chanel” drama once had fans debating originality and artistic influence, this latest interaction feels more playful and lighthearted, showcasing her charisma and timing.

Whether it’s a hint of shade or a friendly nod, one thing is clear: Tyla knows how to keep the internet talking. Fans across continents are watching, sharing, and speculating, proving that in 2026, a few seconds of dance can reignite global conversations about music, culture, and celebrity.
