The Water hitmaker shared the exciting news with fans on social media, revealing a custom doll inspired by one of her most memorable fashion moments. The collectable celebrates Tyla’s growing influence in music, fashion and pop culture, making her one of the few African artists to receive the honour.
Tyla Bratz doll inspired by iconic looks
The Bratz doll recreates Tyla’s eye-catching look from the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, where she wore a striking animal-print dress paired with bold accessories. The doll features the same signature hairstyle, glamorous makeup and detailed outfit that made the red carpet appearance one of her most talked-about fashion moments.
A second doll also replicates Tyla’s iconic sand-in-an-hourglass-inspired look from the 2024 Met Gala, complete with the hourglass-shaped handbag.
Bratz said the collaboration celebrates Tyla’s fearless sense of style and global impact, while the singer expressed her excitement at joining the brand’s growing list of celebrity-inspired dolls.

According to the official Bratz website, the Tyla x Bratz doll will retail for $75 (approximately R1,300). The collectable is set to launch on 27 July, with purchases limited to two dolls per customer.
