The Springboks and the Proteas made us proud when they both beat England’s cricket and rugby teams in their sporting codes World Cup stages. The Springbok’s win sends us straight to the rugby World Cup final against New Zealand where we will be defending our World Champion title against the All Blacks.

The Springboks and All Blacks both won the World Cup thrice – And on Saturday, October 28, the world will get to see who will be the first to outnumber the other between the two giants.

Radiologist and media personality Dr Musa Mthombeni was among those who celebrated both national teams win, taking to his social media to also thank tata Mandela for being a good ancestor for the country. He also added that while England (Britain) still hold’s most of our wealth (diamond’s and gold) that they took when they collonised and oppressed us almost 150 years ago, beating them at major sporting codes was a consolation.

He captioned his post:

“I know it’s going off in the dressing room right now. I already know Eben is jamming! Thank you Mandela for being an ancestor that delivers. Two World Cup wins against the oppressors and colonisers in one day! We love it. We will take this as you work on our diamonds and wealth. Halala!”
