South African rapper and controversial figure Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke, popularly known as Shebeshxt, took to his social media to reveal that he had bought a new house.

Shebeshxt gained popularity when his breakthrough single Ke Di Shxt Malume became popular on TikTok. He then released a song with his most famous tagline, Twerka, with DJ Maphorisa and Xduppy on December 18, 2023, and although it received 14,000 streams daily, people have classified the song as an epic fail.

Although he became famous for his music, Shebeshxt started trending for controversial topics, such as being arrested in May 2023 on charges including violence, attempted murder, and property damage. His bail was rejected, and he spent four months in detention until being released in August 2023. In December, he was sentenced to prison in Botswana for breach of contract.

Despite the negativity that followed, Shebeshxt shared some positivity when he made a live video of a house tour in his new house for his followers.

His fans celebrated his big purchase in the comment section where they added words of encourgement.

On X (formerly Twitter) user expressed, “When it’s your turn to win hard,” implying that even though he is known for all the controversy surrounding his name, he should enjoy what he has worked hard for.

When it’s your turn to win, go hard.?
