Tweeps are truly worried about controversial podcaster Nota Baloyi, after he went online to celebrate his wedding anniversary despite being separated for over a year with his wife, Berita Khumalo.

Taking to his Twitter timeline, the music executive wrote a heartfelt message to his estranged wife Berita on the day of their anniversary.

“On this day in 2021, at Home Affairs on Plein Street, in-front of God & my parents I took a vow to have & to hold, to love & to cherish my WIFE, in SICKNESS & in health, for richer or for POORER, until death us do part… I didn’t take those words lightly & I’m a man of my word,” he wrote.

The couple have been separated over a year, and according to Berita, she has no plans of reconciling with Nota who continues to harass her on Twitter.

According to The South African Berita left her marital home for good in January 2021.

The afro-soul songstress had evidently had enough of her husband Nota who has had hundreds of outbursts on social media.

According to Berita, who sat down on a tell-all interview with Kaya FM’s Sol Phenduka and Dineo Ranaka, before deciding to end things with Nota, she begged him to seek professional help.

“I have many memories of the day I left my marriage…I was in a narcissistic and abusive relationship…The day that I learnt I was in an abusive relationship, I did not stay one minute,” said Berita while speaking to the presenters.

The post made by her ex-husband, Nota, celebrating their wedding anniversary despite being separated over a year raised eyes and concerns for his mental health with one social media user saying: “U need to heal my dawg.”
