Actor Tumisho Masha has recently made waves on social media platforms after he questioned why musician Kelly Khumalo has not been cancelled yet by the industry after she was accused of orchestrating the murder of soccer star, Senzo Meyiwa.

Tumisho, renowned for characters he played on Isidingo: The Need, Isibaya, Beyond Borders and Mandela’s Gun recently made an appearance on a YouTube podcast, Engineer Your Life with Lungelo KM, where he spoke about how his divorces and public failure broke him.

On the podcast, Tumisho opens up about the abuse allegations his ex-wife made against him, and how they tainted his image, from him losing his voice over jobs, acting, home and car because the industry was reluctant about working with him.

He caught people’s attention when he mentioned the Empini singer and wondered why she had not been cancelled yet by the industry after the accusations against her. Speaking about this Tumisho said: “Senzo was killed, we don’t know how, but there is talk and the state is thinking of charging Kelly Khumalo; the state has said this, for the murder of Senzo Meyiwa.

“Kelly still gets gigs, Kelly still has billboards, she still has endorsements, TV shows; it’s happening because there is we presume you innocent until proven guilty. Turn that around, Senzo is the one who is alleged that maybe he had involvement. I can tell you now that Senzo would be cancelled,” he said.

An X (formerly Twitter) user shared the clip.
