Good parenting does not only mean being there for your child and showing them love and support. It is also about setting boundaries, disciplining your child fairly and consistently, and encouraging them to be independent and self-sufficient.

South African musical artist Thato ‘TT’ Mbha continued to show good parenting skills to his children.

Starting a week on a high note, the father of two took to Instagram and shared a video of himself and his daughters sharing their commitments for the week.

“My commitment for this week is to finish my LED lamp drive this week,” shared the father.

The eldest daughter also shared her commitment: “I am committing to making sure that Dad delivers those lamps and getting ready for exams.”

“I am committing to doing good in my tests and being good in school so that I can get my grades up,” said the youngest daughter.

In the caption, TT asked his social media followers, “What are you committing to this week?”

Social media users commented with their commitments:

“Committing to spending time with God. At least an hour a day reading my bible and journal my feelings.”

Another social media user wrote, “I am committing to complete my assessment test I have been postponing for the past four months. I am doing it, thanks for holding us accountable.”

Another person said: “I am committing to finishing a short course; I am doing it online today.”
