Mzansi is reeling in shock after DJ and TV host Warrick Stock, who was popularly known as DJ Warras, was shot and killed in front of the Carlton Centre, a well-known landmark in the Johannesburg Central Business District.

Warras was known for standing up against crime, and he is said to have been inspecting a hijacked building when he met his untimely death.

The police have confirmed the incident, and revealed that there were three men pursuing Warras, with one posing as a security guard that wore uniform. The police shared that he was shot by a short man who had dreadlocks.

Police have confirmed they have video footage of the suspects..
