Tribute videos flood the internet after Yallunder’s death

South African singer, Yolanda ‘Yallunder’ Nyembezi’s death left many with gaping holes in their hearts. This can be seen with the heartfelt tributes in form of videos and earnest words all over social media.

Yallunder who garnered support with her loved single, Ndinovalo passed away at the peak of her music career at the tender age of 30. Her death was confirmed by her family by stating on social media.

The beloved singer and songwriter who was also known for chart toppers such as Buya, 11:11 Makukhanye and Abanjani that she sung with her soothing and healing voice passed away on the 13th of March at Charlotte Maxeke Academic Hospital after battling a sickness for months.

“It is with profound sorrow and heavy hearts that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our beloved daughter, sister and friend, Yolanda Nyembezi who is known to the world as Yallunder.

“Losing her has left an unimaginable void in our hearts, but we take comfort in knowing that her music, her legacy and the love she poured onto the world will live longer,” read the statement.

Saddened by Yallunder’s untimely death, internet users took time to mourn her with musical tributes all over social media. The tributes varied from some singing her songs while others penned heartfelt messages about her.
