American TikToker, Elyse Cizek is determined to make her way into her crush, Trevor Noah’s heart, and is pulling out all the stops.
Cizek recently posted a series of videos on social media, shooting her shoot at the comedian.
The Los Angeles musician, model and writer confessed her crush on the South African born comedian and asked for his mother’s help in her quest to cook her way to the comedian’s heart.
In one video, the brave TikToker introduces herself, greets in isiXhosa and lets Trevor’s mom know that she likes her son and would like him to be her boyfriend.
She asks Trevor’s mother to help her cook pap and mogodu (tripe) to win him over.
The video, which has reached close to 80k likes is captioned “This is admittedly ridiculous but fortune favors the bold…?”. The post has the comedian and The Daily Show tagged.

In the comments section, South Africans supported the determined TikTok, giving their advice on how to cook the dishes and where to the correct ingredients.
Some also tagged the comedian himself and declared Cizek a makoti (bride)
