When he is not taking on the role of South Africa’s unofficial favourite Springbok captain, Siya Kolisi immerses himself in some wholesome activities. In his latest endeavours, the Sharks player was spotted playing tour guide for tennis legend Roger Federer.

Since making his exciting return to SA rugby from French side Racing 92, Siya Kolisi has been greatly absorbed by all things local and lekker as he appears to be catching up on lost time during his stint in Paris. The most exciting part for his fans has been his willingness and excitement to share his new journey with them on social media, which is a privilege they were not afforded as much prior to his move.

His unfortunate divorce from Rachel has caused him to open himself up to new experiences and explore life as a newly single man, which has involved plenty of travelling, networking and interacting with various figures and personalities. Taking to Instagram, Siya revealed that his latest adventure consisted of a sho’t left trip to Bushbuck Ridge in Mpumalanga, where he played tour guide to the one and only Roger Federer.

In the clip, the Springbok captain updated his followers on his whereabouts, revealing that he and his new friend who he calls ‘MaRogisto’ were meandering around and were headed to Salani Primary School.

This visit to South Africa is not a random one for Roger Federer as his mother Lynette Federa was born in Joburg’s very own Kempton Park. His lack of security as such a prominent figure is a testament to his comfort around his mother’s home country.
