Top looks from Netflix’s ‘Blood Legacy’ press junket

When it comes to providing films of the best quality and entertainment to match, Netflix, tried and tested, has consistently been able to give the people exactly what they want. This September, the popular streaming service will be premiering its highly anticipated original ‘Blood Legacy’.

With potentially the most stacked cast we’ve seen before, consisting of the likes of Dawn Thandeka King, Buyile Mdladla, Bonga Dlamini and Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa  ‘Blood Legacy’ is a drama that follows Khanyi Adesina, a character played by the great Xolile Tshabalala, as she returns home to fight for her family’s business whose’s success is currently threatened by corruption.

The film will also see the late Connie Chiume taking her final bow as the curtain of her illustrious career closes for the last time.

In preparation for the premier, the film hosted a press junket in order to get a more up-close and personal look at our favourite celebrities while they speak about their journey filming and prepping for their roles. Of course, we have to highlight our favourite looks from the event, where the A-Listers brought their A-game.

Dawn Thandeka King

Popular for her powerful stature and performances on screen, this veteran actress showed up and showed out at the event with a black and white tuxedo look that was styled for the gods, finished with a tutu-skirt for flare. Although the actress is not known for her fashion statements, she definitely dressed to impress this time around.

Buyile Mdladla

Next on the list is a man you can trust anytime you need your eyes cleansed. A sight for sore eyes, with acting skills to match, Buyile Mdladla was spotted in an all-black suit that sits quite well on his broad, tall frame.

Wiseman Zitha

Although we are uncertain, it appears there was a theme for the event and everyone came ready for it. Wiseman Zitha sported his unique interpretation of a suit, styling it with a long skirt to pull off an effortless androgynous look, that was tailored to perfection.

Bonga Dlamini 

Last on our list we have Bonga Dlamini, a man who has earned himself the title of the villain we all love to hate. Just like a majority of the attendees, Bonga wore a suit, however, adding his own flavour to it, he went for a pinstriped look, with a gorgeous, pearly white smile to match.
