A local TikToker has found herself on the wrong side of the law following the emergence of a video that has frustrated animal lovers.
Known for its vibrant tunes and some of the most creative comedic video skits, the social media platform TikTok has become one of the world’s leading social media platforms for young content creators looking to either boost their following or simply express their vibrant personalities.
However, in recent months, it has become a useful tool for law enforcers looking to crack down on crimes that take place within our country. This was the case when a content creator named Sasha Tshiamo took to the social media platform to show off her dance moves.

While the video meant no harm and was possibly posted to express her talents, several animal lovers were alerted when they spotted an emaciated dog named Bobby, roaming in the background.
In a post of their own, the SPCA wrote: “Our Special Projects Unit (SPU) jumped into action and tracked down Bobby’s owner and the influencer. This morning, Bobby was taken in and is now safe. She’s on a long road to recovery, but once healthy, she’ll be sterilised and available to the loving and caring home she deserves.”

The organisation further noted that the dog had been severely malnourished and had to eat plastic to survive. They found her suffering from fly strike and covered in ticks and fleas.
Meanwhile, Sasha has since revealed that the dog did not belong to her. However, she has since been accused of mocking the dog’s condition while laughing at those calling for “justice” in the comment section.
“Now, she will be facing charges in terms of the Animal Protection Act, while Bobby walked out victorious against her cruelty,” the SPCA told the media.
