Thuso Mbedu continues to stun as she takes over Hollywood

by Ncumisa Lerato Kunana

International actress, Thuso Mbedu is slowly affirming herself as a Hollywood A-lister. Attending all the cool events and rubbing shoulders with all our faves.

This past weekend was the official Oscars weekend where all the A-listers in Hollywood gathered to celebrate the actors who made an impact in the past year on highly acclaimed films. The Vanity Fair Oscar’s after-party is one of the most sought-after.

While Trevor Noah has been a regular guest on the list, it appears that this time he was able to enjoy the party with another South African export, Thuso Mbedu, as the two were photographed together at the exclusive invite-only party.

Thuso was part of one of the most iconic photographs to emerge from the current circuit, which included the most prominent African Americans and Africans to have an impact on Hollywood today.

Ciara, Quinta Bronson, Queen Latifah, Halle and Chloe Bailey, Michael B. Jordan, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and a slew of other influential musicians, actors, and tastemakers in African American culture were among those honored.

She was recently invited to the Elton John AIDS Foundation to be one of the presenters and shine a light on the epidemic. She looked stunning as she walked the carpet in South African designer, HAUTE AFRIKA.
