Naledi Aphiwe Myongwane has created abuzz within the entertainment streets of Mzansi ever since the video of her singing along with her classmates in a classroom went viral. After gaining recognition from American singer-songwriter and dancer Chris Brown, the young singer and songwriter became famous following the circulation of her viral video.

Upon hearing this gem’s powerful voice, Chris Brown sampled Naledi’s voice into the intro of his song, Shooters. The Durban-born singer then spread her wings and began to explore what the entertainment industry had in store for her.

After her discovery, many anticipated a song from Naledi as she had been immensely admired and supported by Mzansi with all the endeavours that she had encountered thus far. The star has rubbed shoulders with some of the biggest names within the industry.

From KZN to the world, the star is now ready to drop her much-anticipated single, ‘Ngiyabonga’, which will be out tomorrow. Naledi will be releasing her song and giving the world her genuine authenticity and pure talent as she describes the song as “a song that speaks from the heart.” As she spreads her wings, she takes time to reflect on her journey and states that. “I can’t help but express my profound gratitude.”

She further penned a heartfelt caption: “2023 has been a year filled with joy, unforgettable moments, and divine blessings. From recording alongside incredible artists like Fezeka and Nomfundo Moh to gracing big stages and exploring beautiful new places, every experience has been a testament to God’s goodness.”

She ends her caption by sharing, “This song is more than just music; it’s a heartfelt prayer, a melody of thanks for the international mention by Chris Brown, the incredible people I’ve met, and the immense love for what I do. Beyond everything, I’m thankful for the voice and the deep passion for music that God has bestowed upon me. Join me in this musical journey of gratitude and celebration!”
