The mother of the late rapper AKA who’s real name was Kiernan Jarryd Forbes continues to mourn her son after he was tragically killed outside a popular restaurant in Durban on the 10th of February along with his friend Tebello Motsoane, an entrepreneur and celebrity chef.

Lynn Forbes, the mother of the slain rapper took to her Instagram timeline where she shared a picture of herself standing next to her son’s open casket.

Lynn revealed that she is still picking up the pieces and that each day she wakes up and remembers that her son is no longer with her.

“Oh my heart …  The last two weeks have been surreal, more specifically the mornings. Waking up every morning, being reminded that this nightmare will never end, is the most excruciating pain I have ever felt. My heart is shattered into millions of pieces. I love you Kiernan,” she wrote.

Since the first post, she has been pouring out tributes to her son.

Lynn thanked her son’s girlfriend Nadia Nakai saying that she will forever be indebted to her for the way she loved and respected  her son.

“Love is not a reason to tolerate disrespect. @nadianakai I am forever indebted to you for the way you love and respect my son to this day. You showed him what real love and respect is and you brought out the absolute best in him.”

“Kiernan was born with love, raised in love, gave love to so many and all he wanted in return was to be loved and respected in the same way. You gave that to him and he died surrounded by love. Thank you,” she wrote.
