This is why Musa Khawula’s account is suspended

Celebrity gossip blogger, Musa Khawula, who is known for putting celebrities on the social media trends list for the wrong reasons, got the test of his own medicine when he topped Twitter trends for almost a week for not-so-great reasons.

On Monday, the gossip blogger appeared at the Vredenburg Magistrate court in the Western Cape on a murder case.

Khawula was reportedly accused of stabbing and killing Wandile Khambule in March this year following a fight between the two.

On Wednesday, Twitter suspended the celebrity basher’s account for violation of the app’s privacy regulations.

This was after the controversial blogger shared a nude video of radio presenter Sikhululo Maliwa, known as DJ Lulo Cafe.

In the clip, the radio presenter could be seen naked drying his body with a white towel.

Musa’s act of sharing the explicit video violated Twitter’s non-consensual nudity policy that was against posting of intimate photos or videos of someone that were produced or distributed without their consent.

However, the blogger was already tweeting from his other account the same day that his original account was suspended.

He activated his backup Twitter account and asked his followers to follow him on his other account.

In reaction, angry social media users called for the second account to be suspended while some believed the new Musa Twitter account was actually fake.

Meanwhile, Mzansi has come in support of Lulo Cafe, who has since deactivated his account after posting: “I’m crushed and have no fight left in me. I’m sorry.”
