Themba Ndaba joins e.TVs Isiphetho: Destiny

Popular for his role on Mzansi Magic’s ‘The Queen’ and ‘Generations’, veteran actor and director Themba Ndaba is back on our screens, ready to do what he does best, which is provide us with the highest level of acting and entertainment.

The actor will join the cast of e.TVs ‘Isiphetho: Destiny’ as he takes on the role of Bheki “Gwinyitshe” Sibanyoni. His entry into the show is set to cause commotion as he ignites a storyline relating to polygamy, which is currently a hot topic in Mzansi.

The show,  set in an area of Soweto called Mzimhlophe, “follows the intertwined lives of four friends who are bound by a life-changing secret from their teenage years. Now in their 30s, they find themselves drawn back to Mzimhlope, determined to chase their true destinies,” describes the channel’s website.

An X(formerly Twitter) account teased that there would be a new character that would be sure to shake things up on the show with the caption “NEW CHARACTER ALERT ‼️ It’s time to shake things up on #etvIsiphethoDestiny can you guess who’s coming?”

According to the channel, Gwinyitshe is a Zulu man with a big heart and plenty of love to give, he enters the community of Mzimhlophe with a grand gesture as he proposes to Connie, who is played by Gugu Gumede. His challenge begins when Blondie, played by Linda Sokhulu returns and he realises he loves them both. Fans of the show and Themba Ndaba can catch his debut on the show on Thursday, 8 August.
