According to The South African, Thabo Bester gained notoriety as South Africa’s most discussed fugitive following his audacious escape from the high-security Mangaung Correctional Centre in 2022. He orchestrated his own demise by initiating a fire in his cell and replacing his lifeless form with that of Katlego Bereng. Subsequently, he seamlessly integrated into society, accompanied by his well-known partner, Dr. Nandipha Magudumana, a celebrity doctor.
