The Mommy Club reality TV star Ratile Mabitsela opened a domestic violence case against her businessman husband Lehlogonolo Elias Mabitsela, who is CEO of Mothapo Consulting Engineers Pty Ltd.

The mother of three and former beauty queen for pageants starred on the reality show which documents the women and their helpers as they navigate the journey of motherhood and friendships.

As reported by entertainment information hub ZiMoja, the reality star opened a case after an incident occurred in their home between her, her husband and mother-in-law.

A source close to the reality star told the publication that Ratile was not doing well and wished that the incident did not happen the way it did, adding that, the reality star has been silent about the verbal abuse that has been happening within her marriage which has now turned into physical abuse.

The source says, “Domestic violence is a serious issue in South Africa and she does not want to take this lightly, especially when it involves children. She has two step kids, and they have three children of their own. This is not something to joke about and she has thought the matter through and taking legal action.”

In a recent interview with the publication, Ratile spoke about her marriage detailing how she first met her husband who is a well-known businessman in the industry. She also went on to talk about the 10-year age gap between them saying, “age is nothing but a number.”
