It is safe to say that The Bala Family reality show has gone down as one of the best reality TV shows to ever come out of Mzansi.

The show which featured mama Veronica Bala- Jafta and her children Pinky, Zwai, Loyiso and Phelo, as well as Mr. Jafta, Loyiso’s wife Jenifer and kids, Pinky’s daughter and Zwai’s kids, aired its final episode last night, leaving many viewers ready for its season two.

The reality show was centered on dealing with issues the siblings had with their mother, dealing with their own issues and understanding and supporting each other’s religions and beliefs.

Social media users took to the social networks to share how real and authentic the reality show has been from its first episode.

Users shared:

This show has given this family a platform to put issues on the table and address them head on. That thing is hard to achieve in normal life circumstances because one thing about the Black household, issues will be swept under the carpet and the show WILL go on. #TheBalaFamily pic.twitter.com/mGgml2nb2o

@ZwaiBala you managed to seed that sweet brilliant touch that’s in your music in this production.

I’ll never stop raving about this show.
