‘That’s dad to you!’ – Euphonik scolds Esona Maphumulo

DJ Esona Maphumulo, son of Grammy-award winner, Black Coffee who recently filled New York’s Madison Square Garden’s 20 000 venue to full capacity found himself scolded by many X (Twitter) users for calling his father by his stage name.

Radio host, DJ and property investor Themba Nkosi famously known as DJ Euphonik was among those who scolded the young DJ.

Esona took to the social network to share a picture of the special jacket his father wore at The Garden which had embroidery art of his maternal and paternal grandmothers as well as his mother. He also shared a picture of a pair of expensive Louis Vuitton sneakers his father wore at the show.

He then captioned his post:

“Dj Black Coffee, Madison Square Garden.”

Upon seeing this many X users jokingly scolded the young DJ who is fast building his deejaying brand on a global scale. Euphonic was among those who had something to say on the matter responding to Esona with:

Many X users added humor on the DJ’s comment, adding:
