Many of us have heard of the phrase, “I am a product of my mothers’ prayers” and can attest that we indeed are. Nothing is as heartwarming and sincere as knowing that you come from a praying warrior.

The reassurance that come with knowing that your path is shielded by the grace of faith is purely unmatched. Moving through life’s obstacles knowing that you are being carried by your parents’ prayers is a confidence booster, that comes with knowing that weapons will form but will not prosper.

While many of us may relate to the above mentioned, South African actress and YouTuber Mapaseka ‘Pasi’ Koetle took the time to show gratitude to her mother.

From what is noted, it is understood that her mother is a devoted Christian who took time to teach the actress the value of prayer and faith. The actress further highlights that not only was her mom her number one prayer warrior but her mom also remained her ultimate supporter at all times.

The Free State born businesswoman explained that upon pursuing her acting career she had to relocate from home to settle in Johannesburg. While that journey may not have been an easy one, Pasi mentioned that she leaned towards prayer and the Bible that her mom had gifted her.

The actress took to Instagram to express, “it is not our wisdom, it is God’s power.”

She captioned her post:

“Oh mama, thank you for your prayers, thank you for teaching me how to pray .. thank you for always showing up for me , ha se ka bohlale ba rona ke ka matla a Modimo ??.”

She further went onto explain the origins of the Bible and said “the bible she’s reading, she gave it to me when I moved to Johannesburg to come study acting .. used to sleep with it next to me (I still do) spending time with my mom always reminds me hore ke tswa hole. Continue praying Modimo o re utlwa kaofela ??.”
