Known for her magnetic presence on-screen, behind the mic, and in the boardroom, Thando continues to break barriers – and now, she’s going global.
Rebelle Management is excited to announce the signing of powerhouse South African actress, producer, and entrepreneur Thando Thabethe to its growing roster of exceptional talent in the region
Since partnering with Rebelle Management South Africa, Thando has also officially joined U.S.-based management company ColorCreative to drive her international growth and amplify her impact on the global entertainment landscape. Co-founded by Issa Rae, Talitha Watkins, and Deniese Davis, ColorCreative’s mission is to empower creators to reach their greatest potential by disrupting the creative industries and championing innovative and inclusive entertainment, making them an ideal partner for Thando’s international ambitions. The partnership underscores Thando’s readiness to transcend geographical boundaries.
“We are immensely proud to welcome Thando Thabethe to the Rebelle Management family. Thando’s versatility and vision align perfectly with our global expansion efforts, and we’re thrilled to partner with ColorCreative to elevate her reach across markets. This is a monumental step for Thando and for South African talent on the world stage,” said Tanisha Colon-Bibb, founder of Rebelle Management. “Thando is a force, and our immediate goal was to align her with partners who could amplify her unique talent globally. Facilitating her signing with ColorCreative is a testament to her universal appeal and the exciting path ahead. She’s just getting started.”
Often referred to as a modern-day multi-hyphenate, Thando is one of South Africa’s most influential cultural figures. With nearly 7 million social media followers, she has spent over a decade delivering standout performances in both scripted formats with international titles such as How To Ruin Christmas, Reyka and My Dad the Bounty Hunter. Through her production company, Dream Landing Pictures, she executive produces Inside Life, a hit MTV series spotlighting female music artists, and has recently completed work on three original Netflix projects (films and limited series) slated for release in Q3 and Q4 2025.
A radio heavyweight who anchors the afternoon drive slot on South Africa’s 947 radio station with her show Drive With Thando, Thando also made history as one of the first Black women in the country to launch and scale a shape-wear brand, Thabooty’s, which has since grown into a nationally distributed line carried by major retailers.
“Signing with Rebelle Management was such an organic next step. I’m genuinely excited about what we’re building together. Their passion and clarity of vision have been so inspiring, and this partnership with Color Creative takes it all to another level. It means so much to have teams who truly believe in me and in the global power of African talent.” said Thando.
This dual-representation structure solidifies Thando’s position as a global force, opening doors across film, television, brand partnerships, and executive production in both African and international markets.
ColorCreative Partner/Manager Raj Raghavan adds, “We are thrilled to welcome the incredibly talented Thando Thabethe to the ColorCreative family. Thando is a true multi-hyphenate whose global appeal, bold voice, and creative vision align perfectly with our mission to champion underrepresented storytellers. We’re excited to support her next chapter as she continues to break boundaries on-screen and beyond.”
Thando continues to be repped by OSM Talent for Film/TV in South Africa and now Rebelle Management and ColorCreative globally.
