Convicted Facebook rapist and murderer Thabo Bester was reportedly engaged to another wealthy woman before involving celebrity Dr. Nandipha Magudumana.

Thabo’s former prison mate disclosed this information in a recent interview with eNCA.

While Thabo was imprisoned at the Magaung Correctional Centre, he was fixated on his business ventures, despite being antisocial.

One of the prison mates said the following to the publication.

“He is a psychopath…he would sit in his cell for two or three months. He was anti-social,” the inmate said while speaking to the publication.

The man further disclosed the name of the businesswoman to whom the Facebook rapist was allegedly engaged, but eNCA bleeped it out.

“He was linked to a CEO. She was engaged to Thabo Bester in 2016,” added the inmate.

The convicted rapist and murderer was also connected to celebrities who allegedly visited him in prison.

One of the celebrities identified was South African actress and media personality Simphiwe Ngema. Simphiwe, also known as Simz, took to her Instagram timeline recently, where she released a statement justifying her actions as to why she visited the convicted murderer and rapist.

The actress continued to explain that she went to prison to visit Thabo because she wanted answers and had supporting documents to prove it. She also alleged that it was a difficult time in her life because he owed her money.

“He seemed well connected and was able to organise meetings and big events for which I and many other public figures were booked for. Till this day I was never paid for some of the events that I was booked for by 21st Century,” reads the statement.

“I’ve been extremely open about everything to those that have been investigating and I have nothing to hide. I am not the person that went there on a regular basis nor was I the last person to visit before his escape.”
