With Youngins Season 2 officially underway, Thabiso Ramotshela, one of the show’s leading stars, is already making waves.

Xabiso Ngqabe sat down with Thabiso to discuss the impact of his role, what viewers can expect from Season 2, and the thrill of reuniting with the Olifants Five.

During the interview, Thabiso shared Youngins’s impact on his career and personal growth, When asked what he values most about his time on the series, he reflected, “The opportunity to embrace youth and learn from mistakes, whether they’re mine or those of my peers. It also feels great to be part of something historic – I see this show as the Yizo Yizo of my generation.”

Thabiso, who plays Mahlatse, reflected on the overwhelming support he’s received from fans. “The love I’ve received from viewers has been incredible,” he said. “I was really surprised because Mahlatse is so different from the typical nerds we’ve seen in high school. I feel like he’s misunderstood.”
