Thabiso Mokhethi beams with pride over daughter’s election

by Dideka Njemla

Do you remember the actor who portrayed the role of a young and vibrant character by the name of Samuel on Generations? That South African actor is Thabiso Mokhethi, a figure that viewers grew fond of in the SABC 1 telenovela.

The star recently used many public mediums to share some of the personal aspects of his life and the lessons he has acquired thus far. He recently took to Instagram to shed a rather lighter and joyous aspect of his life.

The former entrepreneur, actor, and presenter is a father to a young girl, Thabisa Morena, who is currently doing Grade 12 this year. To share news on his daughter’s academic life, Thabiso recently penned a heartfelt caption in which he stated, “Great is your faithfulness my God. Thank You, Lord. Our daughter who is in Grade 12 has been selected as a prefect/leader and Head of Culture at her school.”

The father figure who beamed with pride continued to state, “As parents, we couldn’t be prouder. This child has shown leadership qualities from an early age and is truly a pleasure to parent. Her recent accomplishment is something she did all on her own with God by her side! I find it absolutely amazing as it speaks to the fact that God has given us all a destiny that flourishes when we live our lives with Him.”

Sharing a bit of insight about his daughter and her faith as a Christian, he continued to say, “Thabisa Morena is a Christian child who has been taught Christian values at home and she carries them wherever she is. Watching her grow into a formidable and blessed, young woman has been my honour as her father and I have no doubt that her mother is absolutely proud too. May God Yahweh continue to guide, lead, bless, protect, and prosper her in every way.”

He further concluded his caption by congratulating his daughter. “Well done my blessed daughter. You are truly God’s dwelling place Zion! Upwards and onwards we go as King Jesus leads. We are super proud of you Thabi.”
