T’bo Touch attends the 18th International Architecture Exhibition in Venice

Thabo Molefe, also known as T’bo Touch who is currently in Venice, shared with his followers his team-up with the Department of Arts and Culture as the South African Pavilion opening ceremony programme director at Biennale Arcitettura in Venice.

The event which will see the global architecture fraternity gather in Venice, Italy, for the 18th International Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, will commence on 20 May with pre-events starting today.

Minister Zizi Kodwa and Ambassador Nosipho Nausca-Jean Jezile will officially open the South African Pavilion on 19 May 2023 at 10:30. Oscar Mdlongwa, also known as Oskido, will be playing at tonight’s celebration.

Taking to his Instagram, the radio host and businessman shared:

“What an honor to be your program director for the 2023. @labiennale 23 SA Pavilion courtesy of @artsculturesa coming LIVE from Venice Italy ??.”

“The South African Ambassador to the Italian Republic, who also serves as a Commissioner for the South African Pavilion at Biennale Architettura 2023, have announced three curators for the South African Pavilion at the 18th International Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia: Dr Sechaba Maape, Dr Emmanuel Nkambule and Mr Stephen Steyn. They will be supported by 2BLN, Spies Architects and Breinstorm Brand Architects.”

Minister of Social Development Lindiwe Zulu was among those who commented on T’bo Touch’s post, adding; “South Africa Rise…. A government that should at all times search for opportunities and open up these to the people! ANC LIVES! ANC LEADS!”
