In the words of American producer, DJ Khaled, “Another one!”

It appears as though the trophy was not the only accolade that the Springboks have brought home following their success at the World Cup in France.

Since returning home, many have shared the exciting news that they will be expanding their family trees by announcing their pregnancy.

Recently Springbok hooker Bongi Mbonambi and his wife Anastacia have welcomed their newborn daughter.

The double World Cup champion recently took to Instagram to share the news with the rest of his followers.

“A beautiful new addition to the family.”

Providing fans with an update on how the delivery has gone he further wrote, “Mom and baby are doing great. She is perfect. Such an amazing and unexplainable feeling.”

The post shows the Mbonambi’s warmly embracing their newborn in the delivery room while big sister Esa later has her opportunity to bond.

The proud father later shared an encouraging scripture emphasizing just what a blessing the new addition is to their family.

“Behold, children are a heritage from the lord. The fruit from the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth.”

In a previous interview with, BrightRock, while playing in the blue and white colours of the Stormers, Bongi revealed that he and first met at church in 2015.
