South African celebrities who tied the knot in 2022

2022 was the year of weddings and many of our favorite South African celebrities took the plunge and kept us craving for more of their beautiful wedding photos.

In no particular order, we bring to you a list of some celebrity couples who tied the knot this year:

1. DJ Zintle and Murdah Bongz

DJ Zinhle got married in a private ceremony. In early August 2022 during the first episode of season two of her reality show DJ Zinhle: The Unexpected, DJ Zinhle’s fans were pleasantly surprised to learn that the deejay was already married.

2. DJ Sabby and Lerato

The Metro FM employees gushed on their Instagram timelines about the coming together of the two families. The Metro FM love birds shared stunning photos of their traditional wedding ceremony on Instagram.

3. Thato and Inanda

Thato Mashele, who was crowned the second runner-up at Miss Supranational, tied the knot this year too. Thato shared photos and videos of her traditional wedding celebration. “The happiest day of my life,” she wrote in the caption of one of the many wedding posts. “I can’t wait to walk through life with you by my side,” she wrote alongside another post of herself and her new husband.

4. K Naomi and Tshepo Phakati

Media personality K Naomi and her husband Tshepo Phakhati had the dreamiest white wedding.

5. Tshepi Vundla and JR Bogopa

Tshepi took to Instagram to announce what seemed to be the beginning of her Lobola negotiations. Posing with her fiancé, she was dressed modestly in a semi-traditional dress, covered her shoulders with a shawl, wore a doek and had a gorgeous ring on her ring finger and captioned her picture: “?? ❤️?”

6. Faith Nketsi and Nzuzo Njilo

In an episode of Faith Nketsi’s reality show Have Faith, it showcased her beautiful wedding .In the episode, you can see Faith’s mother emotional after the lobola negotiations have been finalised.
