International celebrity chef, Lorna Maseko is bringing a delectable new touch to the South African Airways (SAA) new menu launch.

As part of SAA’s redesigned in-flight dining experience, Lorna, well-known for her love of food and flair for flavour, is taking her culinary skills onboard. Delicious meals that combine regional flavours and international ideas are now expected of passengers, making the trip as unforgettable as the final destination.

The media personality is also known for her ability to transform everyday ingredients into culinary masterpieces, a true trailblazer in the South African food industry, as she has hosted top-tier cooking shows.

She is now literally reaching new heights with her undeniable influence in the kitchen. This new partnership is expected to enhance the SAA brand, which has been working to regain its standing as one of Africa’s top airlines.

Taking to her Instagram account to share the news, the exceptional chef wrote, “I’m so proud and excited to announce that I’ve partnered with our national carrier, @flysaa, to create a menu for this fiscal year!”

Lorna further mentioned that in addition to combining pan-African ingredients that honour the beauty and diversity of our continent, the meals have a strong cultural and heritage connection to her as a proud Motswana from modest Alexandra and hopes that these foods will make you feel cosy, comfortable, and, of course, tasty whether you’re travelling locally, long-haul or in business class.
