Spring has sprung and Somizi Mhlongo’s Sompire Kids online store has officially launched. This is the media personality’s business idea that he had been working on for more than 2 years as he previously shared.

Known for his fashion sense and never missing a mark on the red carpet and at social events, it was expected that the kids’ range would be fun, creative and extraordinary.

The Idols SA judge has, since announcing the store launch date, been doing a 10 day count down for today’s big reveal. In the 10 days, he took some time to ask people to follow Sompire Kids’ social media account, creating a following before the store even launched.

Yesterday Somizi shared a snippet of his Sompire Kids website and captioned his post:

“? TEASER. ONLINE STORE LAUNCHES TOMORROW. www.sompirekids.com @sompire_kids.”

When the flamboyant media personality shared the store’s kids’ range ‘soon to launch’ post, most of his followers immediately got excited with many saying they couldn’t wait for today to arrive. Some, however, were worried about how much the clothes would cost. On the website, almost all the clothing items are affordable, ranging between R200 and R900.

Today, sharing on his and the Sompire Kids’ social media accounts, the media personality and businessman wrote:

“The wait is finally over ??. The new coolest kids on the block have arrived ?. Shop Sompire Kids apparel online on www.sompirekids.com TODAY!”
